IT project management | Agile, Scrum & Waterfall methodologies | Sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups | JIRA, MS Project
Key responsibilities • Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget
• Collaborate with stakeholders — business, development, QA, and architecture teams — to define project goals and success criteria
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure efficient Agile/Scrum execution
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, identifying and resolving risks and issues
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including charters, plans, and status reports
• Mentor and lead a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Preferred qualifications • Insurance domain expertise: proven experience in IT projects within the insurance industry, with an understanding of processes, regulations, and customer needs
• Commercial ownership: experience managing gross margins, project cost, P&L, and profitability
• Methodologies: strong command of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, plus Fixed Bid projects
• Leadership: experience managing teams of 10+ developers, ensuring productivity and alignment with project goals
• Stakeholder management: excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage senior management and clients effectively
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification preferred
• Analytical thinking: ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and make informed decisions
• Tool proficiency: hands-on with JIRA, MS Project, and similar tools
• Domain knowledge: familiarity with digital transformation, automation, and emerging technologies in insurance
